The GDACS science portal is dedicated to various GDACS scientific communities, including:

  • natural hazards: earthquakes, tsunamis, cyclones, floods and volconoes
  • crisis response and management technology
  • geospatial infrastructure and modelling
  • social media for crisis management

The portal provides dedicated discussion spaces for expert working groups and hosts experimental systems that are candidates for further integration in GDACS.
